JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

As a Data Scientist specializing in Generative AI Model Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of advanced AI models that generate creative and high-quality content. Leveraging your expertise in GPT or AWS Bedrock, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize generative models that push the boundaries of AI-generated content across various applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and understand the latest advancements in generative AI, with a focus on GPT and AWS Bedrock technologies.
Collaborate with domain experts, machine learning engineers, and data engineers to define project goals, requirements, and success metrics.
Design, develop, and train generative AI models that produce human-like text, images, or other forms of content, tailored to specific use cases.
Preprocess and curate large datasets suitable for training generative models, ensuring data quality and relevance.
Fine-tune and optimize pre-trained models to align with project objectives and domain-specific requirements.
Experiment with novel model architectures, techniques, and training methodologies to improve the quality and diversity of generated content.
Conduct rigorous testing and validation to assess model performance, stability, and scalability.
Collaborate with software engineers to integrate generative models into production environments or applications.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the company’s AI initiatives.
Document research findings, methodologies, and implementation details for internal and external stakeholders.

Skills Required:

Proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying generative AI models, preferably using GPT or AWS Kendra/ Bedrock.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
Proficiency in working with large datasets and data preprocessing techniques.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS services, is a plus.
Solid understanding of natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision concepts.
Ability to conduct independent research, stay updated with the latest literature, and apply new insights effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards tackling complex technical challenges.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
