Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Test / QA Engineer with 3+ years of experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web and API-based applications through robust testing strategies, automation frameworks, and defect management processes. The role requires strong hands-on experience in test case design, automation tools, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and API applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and smoke testing to validate application behavior.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using tools such as Selenium and Cypress.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or equivalent frameworks.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using Jira and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test reports.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and QA reviews in an Agile environment.
• Ensure product quality by validating UI, workflows, integrations, and data consistency.
• Continuously improve test coverage, automation frameworks, and QA best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in software testing / quality assurance.
• Strong hands-on experience in manual testing and automation testing.
• Proficiency in Selenium and Cypress for test automation.
• Solid experience in API testing and validation of RESTful services.
• Strong expertise in test case creation, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Experience working with Jira for bug tracking and test management.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
